Wolseley Car Club Southern Branch Report

Dear Southern Branch Wolseley Club Members,

We have had a significant number of new members join in the last few months. We warmly welcome them all. They are Bill Keen, Peter Duthie, Glenn Schuitman, Phillip Barnett, Trevor & Dot Johnson, and Bernie Horn. One other person has received an Application for Membership form and I am awaiting its return. This increase in membership is very encouraging indeed.

Based on the success of the get together at the Black Swan Café in Waihola in February, we have arranged to meet for lunch at the Two Fat Stags Restaurant and Bar (formerly where Peggydale was) at the south end of Balclutha at 12.00noon on Saturday 15 May. We can drive there in our Wolseley (or near equivalents!) cars and have plenty of room for parking and a photo of the cars and have an informal get together. Food and drinks will be at your own cost but I need to know how many people are coming so I can reserve sufficient tables. If you would like to come please email or phone me by Tuesday 4 May 2021. They will offer us a set menu and are asking that we pre-order our meals, so if you are coming I will email you a menu and ask that you reply by another date with your selection so I can pass that on to the Restaurant.

There will be other club outings coming up, so when their details are available I will be in contact.
